Carl Dahlquist - Camp Manager

Carl is a man who loves God and has a passion for providing a camp environment that encourages folks, from the young to the aging,…to relax, enjoy the creation, and take time with God.

Carl was raised in northern Illinois, graduated from Lincoln Christian College, and spent the next 8 years in inner city ministry of East Chicago, Indiana. God then directed him into the camping ministry where he found his “niche” of the last 34 years. Carl’s served at Rock River Christian Camp (located in northern, IL) and Colorado Christian Service Camp and now is here at Lake Springfield Christian Assembly.

Kerma - Program Manager

Kerma is passionate about things that foster community within the body of Christ... and believes that camp and the outdoor setting is a wonderful place for this to happen.

Kerma has lived in seven states, growing up primarily in Florida and Colorado. Originally seeking a career in business and finding that it did not suit her, she went to Wheaton College to study educational ministries in the form of camp ministry. She worked a one year long internship at HoneyRock in northern Wisconsin and spent the following three years working at Life Church in Wheaton serving in the college and community ministries. She is now very excited to be serving at Lake Springfield Christian Assembly.

 

 

Gale brings with him a wide variety of experience from construction, maintenance, house parenting, US Army work, and years of volunteering at LSCA.  He joined the staff of LSCA during the summer of 2010 and has already made an a positive impact of the quality of the facilities here at Lake Springfield Christian Assembly.

 

Gale is a husband and father.  He is also involved in different volunteer ministries at his church.

2012 Summer Staff Positions

We are seeking to fill the following positions for summer 2012:  3 Life Guards, 1 first aid provider, 1 building and grounds assistant, 2 assistant cooks, 1 pm cook, 1 office assistant and 1 Dining Hall Steward.  All hired staff must have completed High School.
