Guidelines for LSCA Facility Use

These guidelines are established with people's safety and the proper use of the facilities in mind. We appreciate every effort to maintain these guidelines within your group.

  • There is no smoking allowed in any building, or around the pool area. Alcoholic beverages and / or controlled substances are not allowed on the property at any time.
  • No food or beverages are allowed in the dorms.
  • All facilities are to be treated with respect and proper care. Vandalism will not be tolerated. Groups will be charged for any deliberate acts of vandalism that results in damaged or defaced property.
  • According to state laws, beds cannot be moved together or into other rooms.
  • Please help us conserve energy by turning off lights in rooms not being used and by not propping open doors while the AC or heat is running.
  • Fires are to be in designated fire rings and fire places only.
  • Lake Springfield Christian Assembly is not responsible for lost, stolen or damaged property of the participants of any rental group.
  • There must be at least one adult in each dorm room being used for retreats for youth.
  • Every person on the camp property is expected to conduct themselves in manners consistent with Biblical principles and standards.
  • Your group will receive a "clean up checklist" for each area of camp used by your group. Failure to properly clean the facility will result in your deposit not being credited towards the rental fees.
  • Violation of any of these rules could result in the loss of deposit and denial of future use of the facilities. An individual or group may be asked to leave by the Camp Manager for violating these guidelines.

Pool Use (Open from Memorial Day to Labor Day - weather pending)

  • No one is allowed inside the pool fence without the supervision of a life guard
  • The Life Guard is the only authority at the pool
  • The pool must be cleared at the first sight of lightening or sound of thunder (it must remained cleared until a minimum of 30 minutes has past since the last sight or sound of lightening or thunder).
  • There is to be no rough play or pushing at the pool.
